BTW, you ALWAYS want to put pitchbend and vibrato onto your leads. It is never a bad idea. EVER. :D IMO, the best leads are the ones that imitate the human voice - and if you pay attention to singers, they're pitch bending like crazy (not even consciously, most of the time) and adding vibrato.
They also modulate the timbre of the sound too, but hey, why not do that too right?
Based on intensive stalking, I'm going to say the latter (I actually had you there initially to throw people off, but then I took you off in case there was some hidden detail I wasn't aware of)!
