Before you go and antagonize me for my comments, which happens far too often in real life, please note that I'm very impressed with your work and think that it was made with true talent.
While this was some entertaining ear-candy, I don't think it's dubsteppy enough to garner the genre you gave it. To me, it sounds like you've either never or barely attempted dubstep before in music and don't listen to a lot of it. Forgive me if I'm wrong. The wubs at parts like 1:11 were just too repetitive and prominent in the song to provoke that much interest in the dubstep part of the song. However, I do know how much effort it takes to make sounds like that, so if you're willing to put in the effort instead of looping the same four notes over and over again, i think you could make a remarkably good dubstep song.
The overall feel of the song was very passive. I enjoy calm music as much as the next guy, but again, that was one aspect of the song which I felt contradicted the title of 'dubstep'. It didn't sound like something people would dance to or listen to for the upbeat sounds in it, it sounded like something I'd listen to during meditation or something to calm me down while doing math homework.
Another thing about this that struck me was that you spent so long working on it. I love small details and hidden noises, but for songs like these, people wouldn't be as likely to notice. Your style of music is one that just washes over an audience, leaving them cleansed and soothed. Adding tons of tiny quirks to the song doesn't really add up for that sort of thing. Also, the horror of the kick and snare. Yeah. I know that feel, bro.
TL;DR: It's a great song, relaxing and tranquil. The one-star knockoff was because I didn't think it was an actual dubstep song, but I think you could make a great dubstep song if you approached it differently. You also don't need to work as hard to produce the same amazing effects that grip us like this song does. Great work.
